Our Staff

He looked up to his counselors so much and made fast friends with his cabin mates even though he is a shy kid.
Libby G.Parent
Red Arrow camp is an amazing place for boys to be just that: boys! while learning new things and making long lasting friendships! My son loves RAC
Mercedes G.Parent
Made many lifelong friends and great memories in my six summers there. I know some are hesitant about seven weeks - I assure you, by the time the summer is over you'll wonder where the time went and wish it had been an eight week session!
Jack D.Alumni
What an awesome summer and experience - it truly lived up to the hype that my husband has been sharing all these years, and was very true to all the conversations we had with Eric and alum over the past year.
Jessie C.Parent

Activities & Programs

I loved the emphasis on setting goals, overcoming difficulty and being a good friend/teammate. The variety of activities offered is impressive and gives a ton of opportunity to try new things that aren't available to us the rest of the year. I feel this is clearly an experience that will impact my son in a positive way for his whole life.
Kate M.Parent
He tried new activities and improved many activities he already knew. I would highly recommend Red Arrow Camp to anyone looking for an amazing summer experience for their son!
Libby G.Parent
Red Arrow is a place where a boy can develop independence, resilience, and try so many new activities.
Max R.Parent
Activities and structure are based in solid values and traditions. 7 weeks can be a shock to new families, but it's beyond worth it.
Kristen C.Parent
My boy was very proud of his progress at camp - I think proud of himself for going far away to this new experience, and also very proud of all the emblems he earned. He loved showing them to family and friends, and explaining what each of them meant
Jessie CParent
My boy shared with us the great improvement he achieved in many of the sports he practiced at RAC, especially those involving water: water skiing, diving, sailing and swimming. He was so proud of his PADI certificate.
Lorena GParent
He was very excited about all the sports activities. He fell in love with Little Joe's story and the character himself. He loves singing camp songs and sings them throughout the day.
Andrea KParent
I can't say enough good things about this camp! My son loves going each year. His athletic abilities have dramatically improved in multiple sports as a result and he's grown so much as a boy. The administration is exceptional - it's extremely well run.

Our Family & Community

We greatly appreciate all the staff did to make it a safe summer, full of fun as well personal growth. The staff at Red Arrow is caring and empathetic, but also pushes the kids to be their best.
Katie W.Parent
Our 2 boys had their first Red Arrow Camp experience this summer... I can not say enough good things are RAC. From the caring staff and counselors, the countless new adventures the boys get to experience, the awesome organization and communication from the camp office...
Kate M.Parent
"Amazing opportunity for boys to experience important bonding and test their limits in a rustic and beautiful setting - under watchful guidance of qualified camp staff.
Keith W.Parent
As first-time parents, we were awed at the opportunity that we had given them through this experience and quickly saw what a tight-knit family RAC becomes. The impacts of their time at RAC have been noticeable after they returned home and everyone is eager for next summer!
Sarah PParent
Red Arrow Camp has been a huge gift to our boys who have been both campers and counselors. We are forever grateful and recommend Red Arrow with all our hearts!
Evans SParent

Personal Growth

Our boy is a quiet kid - we noticed right away that he engages with adults/peers in a new way - very clear pleases and thank yous, most noticable when we're at a restaurant and he orders his meal. He used to leave this to us and now is engaging on his own.
Jessie CParent
Our boy definitely returned from the camp much more mature and independent. He greatly reinforced his self-esteem by proving to himself that he is capable of achieving every goal he sets for himself both personally and athletically.
Lorena GParent
Our son is much more proactive in helping around the house. Additionally, he is having more meaningful conversations with us and his friends.
Kelly CParent
Red Arrow Camp is Amazing! My 10 year old spent his first summer at it and he really loved it.. My wife, her parents and myself visited the camp a couple times during my kid stay and we didn't want to leave! We all agreed that this is a really special place.
Marcelo JParent
They made so many friends and grew in confidence and courage. I am so glad that they loved their experience and so grateful to the entire camp team for all of their work bringing out the best in my boys.
Mary BParent
I attended a rival camp for three years then Red Arrow and I wish I had the chance to attend for longer. Sending a son here is an incredible gift to them and their future

Special Days

These days are open to guests and families to join us on Trout Lake.

Get Started
Camp Starts - June 18th
The busses roll down the driveway at 4pm followed by our first dinner together. Parents must leave by 4pm.
Counselor Stunt Night - July 5th
On this evening, the Counselors put on an ‘SNL’ for the campers and guests. Show starts at 7:30pm sharp! Camp opens to guests at 6:30pm.
Aquagatta - July 12th

During Aquagatta — a very special day of the summer — campers are assigned to one of four pirate teams and spend the day competing in water-focused contests. After a special wake-up, each camper dons his “war paint” before heading out for the first contest of the day: a treasure hunt complete with coded clues for all age groups.  The afternoon brings many fun, zany water contests and ends with the famous water slide ball toss. The evening is capped by a celebration featuring root beer floats for all teams!

Olympics - August 1st
RAC’s “Olympics” are held on the last Saturday of camp. The camp is divided into four nations, with each boy sporting a t-shirt representing his country. Boys compete in track events, swimming, sailing, skiing, horseback riding, wrestling, rifle, archery, trap, basketball, soccer, floor hockey, and more. The evening concludes with an awards ceremony where event winners are given gold, silver, and bronze medals.

Camp Play Night One - August 2nd
The Camp Play is the biggest special event at Red Arrow. During the last two weeks of camp, everyone who wishes to be a part of the play — a fun, musical production — practices during their rest period and free time. Several hundred people (parents, friends, neighbors) attend the boys’ standing-room-only productions over the course of two evenings.

Salad Bowl - August 3th

The Salad Bowl is our flag football version of the Super Bowl. Held on the last Sunday of camp, this event is open to parents and friends of RAC. In the week leading up to the game, campers are divided into an upper and lower division and practice with their team. We kick off the event with a special tailgate lunch, and the two flag football games follow. The event ends with a steak fry celebration.

Camp Play Night Two - August 4th

The Camp Play is the biggest special event at Red Arrow. During the last two weeks of camp, everyone who wishes to be a part of the play — a fun, musical production — practices during their rest period and free time. Several hundred people (parents, friends, neighbors) attend the boys’ standing-room-only productions over the course of two evenings.

Closing Ceremonies - August 6th

Closing ceremonies starts early in the morning. This is when we award the Honor Campers of the summer, the Friendship cut and the Pete Johnson Award.
