Entering the Final Stretch

Greetings to all of our camp families,

Another gorgeous week is in our rear view mirror, and what a week we had at camp! The Chateau returned on Wednesday to a crowd of boys waiting to hear their stories. The smiles on those young men’s faces is something that I cannot even begin to describe. They safely returned to camp, full of pride that can only come from an experience like the Canadian. Yet, Chateau was not the only cabin that ventured out into the wilderness last week. Chalet returned from Isle Royale, F and G returned from canoe ...

Another Wonderful Week in the Northwoods

Canada bound Have fun boys Good luck

Good afternoon to all of our wonderful RAC families,

It is hard to believe that another week has passed at camp. Cabins A, B and E all ventured out on trips earlier this week and they all returned safely to camp yesterday afternoon. They faced off with Mother Nature on Monday evening, but everyone came back dry, smiling and full of fun stories to tell. Manor tried to depart on Tuesday for their 5-day Superior Hiking Trail trip, but due to washed out roads and flooding throughout the state, they returned to camp that afternoon and departed the next morning ...

A Gorgeous Day at Camp

Good morning,

The sun is shining here at Red Arrow, and Trout Lake is getting warmer every day. Cabin C is paddling the Manitowish River, while Cabin H is enjoying the rapids of the Flambeau River’s North Fork. Cabins F and G are immersed in the beautiful scenery of Pictured Rocks. We will be sure to upload photos as soon as we ...

The Other Cabin

Another SAFE great summer at the most popular activity at camp - the Red Arrow Stables. After referred as the “other cabin” the barn is filled this year with 17 horses. 7 returning geldings and 10 new new geldings to Red Arrow and camp. All proved to steady, trust worthy and reliable school horses the provided a safe fun environment for the boys to not only to learn how to ride but, more importantly learned learn how to be a “horseman”. All campers and staff voted on the horse that was the horses that showed up everyday and the new “critter ...

An Update From Camp

My oh my, how time has flown! I cannot believe there are under two weeks left until Red Arrow returns to its quiet, somber setting for the winter. So much has happened over the past week. We sent out and celebrated the return of the last trips of the summer, play preparations have begun, Cabin C won Camper Stunt Night and there are even whispers of Salad Bowl plans in the wind. Yet, despite only have 11 days left, we still have A LOT to accomplish.

Later today we will host Camp Nicolet one last time for the summer as ...
