Weekly Update From Camp

Time sure does fly when you are having fun! This past week cabin G headed for dryer ground as they went on a three day hiking trip to Porcupine Mountains. Chateau and Chalet also went on three day canoeing trips to the Flambeau and Cabins F and Manor made sure Drew stayed busy sending trips out to the Porcupine Mountains and the Flambeau flowage. While the boys had a blast on their adventures, it was great getting them all back to camp on Thursday.

Stunt Night Weekend

We hope to see many parents, alumni and friends tonight for Counselor Stunt Night. The show will start around 7:30, or whenever the bell rings.

Tomorrow, the Tanner's will be hosting a get together for RAC visitors. Everyone is welcome to come to their place after chapel service for a brat cook out. There is limited parking at their cabin, so we are asking people to park at the Big Muskellunge boat launch, and we will ferry people by boat. From camp, head south on Highway 51 for about 2 miles, then take a left on Highway N ...

Lately At Red Arrow!

Camp has really started to pick up! Friday was the first songfest of the summer and on Saturday we had our first capture the flag game! Sunday the boys attended the first chapel. With over 75 boys in the camp choir this summer. The boys sang "You Can Do Most Anything" following with Dave's talk about setting goals. Camp already has been filled with so many adventures and we have only just begun!

The Start Of Summer 2015!

On Wednesday the rainy weather cleared just in time for the campers to roll in on the busses to officially begin Red Arrow Camp 2015! After some delicious Sloppy Joe's the boys went out to their first night of optionals. A wonderful way to end an afternoon at camp. Day two at camp was a very busy time for our campers. The morning consisted of fitness testing and sign ups for classes after lunch. So much has already taken place and the summer has just begun!

The Buses Have Arrived!

The buses have arrived! The countdown has finally reached zero! We could not feel more excited and more privileged to get to spend the next seven weeks with this group of 94 wonderful boys. Tonight the campers will get a tour of camp, pick between a number of open activities to try out and get to know their counselors and cabin mates. Tomorrow we will all go through fitness checks and take the swimming and canoeing tests. The boys will also hear about every activity at camp before choosing the ones they would like to participate in for the next ...

What an exciting day!  8 lucky counselors got to be the first people up on the brand new ropes course.  They are undergoing training with the company which built the course - but they are also getting to enjoy it!
