Summer of 2014

Preparation for the summer of 2014 is well underway.  Campers from last summer should have received information about enrolling for next year.  Applications are being processed using our new electronic system, CampSite.  If you have any questions about the application process, or if you know of a boy who would be a good fit for Red Arrow, please contact Sue at redarrow@svtel.net

Taps & Big Campfire

The Counselor Choir recorded a beautiful version of Taps & Big Campfire which you can listen to and download here:

We were fortunate to have a very musically talented group of campers and counselors this summer and we took time at the end of the summer to record many of our favorite songfest songs.  These will be posted to the website in the coming months.

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Bigger than the Super Bowl...the RAC Salad Bowl offers an afternoon of fun and excitement! The Younger Division - Da Gouff Troupe versus A Celebrasch With Binkie And The Bronners: Icons In The Local Community. The Older Division - The Hoot Owls versus The Horse-N-Goggles. Both games were hard fought and well played. Who needs pads and helmets when you have boys as tough as the campers at Red Arrow!!! Check out pictures of the big game!

For the Love and Honor of the Game

Here they are...the long awaited Olympic pictures. After a truly amazing day and almost 2,000 pictures to sort through, we have selected the best 115! Campers are back at home, but we hope they never forget the challenge and camaraderie of camp. The RAC Olympics is the epitome of all Red Arrow stands for...we applaud of each of the boys who competed for the skills and abilities that were shown and the medals earned. However, we are even more proud of the respect and sportsmanship each boy showed throughout the entire day. Great job on a great ...

A Special Sunday Surprise!

Our Sunday night cookout had a little upgrade, thanks to a generous donation from former camper and cookie, John Gardner ('71 - '76). John kindly donated the funds that allowed us to have an amazing pig roast. The counselors had a great time cooking and carving the pig...and we all enjoyed feasting on the delicious meat and sides. Sure beats a hotdog! Thanks for thinking about us, John! The pig roast will certainly be a highlight for all of us here this summer! Take a look at at the pig and all the little piggies stuffing their bellies!

Extraordinary Carnival!!!

On Saturday night we invited the ladies of Camp Nicolet over to experience the fun and excitement of the RAC Carnival. It was a cold and rainy evening, but that didn't stop us from turning up the fun! Lots of creative games and booths, crazy costumes, and, of course, tons of treats from the Fun Wagon. Thanks to Camp Nicolet for coming and sharing in this awesome night! Look at our Flickr page for pictures of all the campers!
